Feature stained glass window

This stained glass window was designed around the following various points given by the client:

-It was based on a somewhat similar overall layout to a window that they had seen previously elsewhere.

- It had to include:
the violinist...
with flowing red hair...
the green cape...
and the flowing dress with celtic scroll details

Also, the background, which was based on a photograph of Lough Neagh including the sunset, the Autumn trees and the fishing boat.

Most of the individual glass pieces were decorated, and fused in a kiln at over 800°C, then hand painted and kiln fired a second time, before being leaded together.

A beautiful example of what is possible with a little thought and creativity.
