Private Client JR
The clients wanted a real statement feature for the shower in their main bathroom so glass seemed the obvious choice.
Although this was larger than the average bathroom, the 1500mm shower tray was projecting well out into the centre of it, so we decided to shorten the length of the side walls and to shape the glass so that only the bottom part (where the water over-spray would reach) extended towards the end of the shower tray. Further to this, only the areas of glass that were against the walls were back-painted leaving the bronzed tinted areas protruding out beyond to add interest whilst complimenting the decor of the room.
The glass was specially manufactured and painted to fit perfectly from the tray to ceiling, whilst also lining up with the side walls... something that just cannot be bought in any showroom or on-line.
